The Ferrari Marketing Strategy

Ferrari never spent a cent on marketing.

Yet it is a worldwide brand.

And worth more than the Google brand, the Apple brand, Nike, IBM or Shell.

So how is it that Ferrari has achieved so much without a single investment on marketing strategy?

Ferrari has always used the one single marketing tool.

Passion.

Passion has been the fuel of Ferrari’s success.

Since the beginning, Ferrari has been doing the things it still does today. Car racing and constructing extraordinary sports cars. That has been the marketing strategy. The passion for speed and racing and engines goes through to every sports racing lover all over the world.

In today’s internet marketing context, this is called Viral Marketing.
